Food Grade rubber sheeting is used in industries that require non-toxic and FDA-approved rubber. Coruba has a number of food grade rubber sheeting options to choose from:
White Food Quality EPDM Rubber – Good for use outside, good weather and ozone resistance. Coru163
White Food Quality Natural Rubber – Resistant to moderate chemicals, wet and dry organic acids and alcohol. Coru136
White Food Quality Neoprene Rubber – With a high resistance to abrasion and tearing, it is recommended for food industries that work largely with fats, oils and greases. Coru162
White Food Quality Nitrile Rubber – NBR synthetic rubber is suggested for use in food and drink industries that have direct contact with oils and grease. Coru137
White Silicone Food & Drink Grade Rubber – is the preferred choice for medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries. It is highly-resistant to heat and flames and has electric insulating properties. It is available in translucent, black, blue and red colours.
FDA Certification
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or USFDA) is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, one of the United States federal executive departments. The FDA is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements etc. The FDA also enforces laws under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act and associated regulations, many of which are not directly related to food or drugs.
