The Coru1442 Is a Blue Metal Detectable FDA approved 60 shore Silicone made from the highest quality for demanding applications with excellent heat and flame resistance.

With the risk of Silicone particles become more of a poignant concern in global production lines particularly in medical, pharmaceutical and food and drink applications a solution was required to stop Silicone particle contamination. The solution was a Metal Detectable Silicone that can easily be detected by metal detectors to prevent Silicone contamination, thus stopping any eroded particles entering the production line. Sensitive In-line metal detection systems are used to monitor production lines, if they detect any contaminants, the production process is quickly halted, contaminated products are quarantined, the particle source investigated, identified and rectified and the production line is resumed with minimal down time and minimal product waste. Metal Detectable Silicone has been seen as a global success and has been adopted as a safe, cost effective solution worldwide minimizing Silicone contamination and the subsequent risks associated with Silicone contamination.
