Electrical Matting Standards
ASTM D178 specifies the minimum electrical, chemical and physical properties of rubber insulating matting, along with the manufacturing procedures required to ensure consistent performance in electrical safety applications.
VDE standards include performance testing to determine surface and volume resistivity, electrical breakdown strength, and dielectric performance in high-voltage environments.
