PRE-TEST PROCEDURE
Verification of the Test Specimen
Ignito Labs was not involved in the selection of the specimen. Test specimen was supplied by the sponsor of test.
Conditioning
The specimens were stored at a temperature of 23±20C and relative humidity of 50±5% till constant mass.
FIRE TEST PROCEDURE
IMO FTP CODE PART 5
1 specimen of size 800mm in length, 155mm in width and 5.13mm in thickness has been placed at an angle of 150 from the radiant heat panel system which is set at an irradiance defined in Table 1 of Appendix 2 of IMO FTP code Part 5. Test chronometer is started once the sample is placed in testing position. Flame spread profile and other relevant parameters are monitored and recorded. Test for 2 more specimens performed in same manner and results were recorded.
OBSERVATIONS
Pre -Test Observations
The specimen was found satisfactory and fit to be tested.
