Coruba offers a wide variety of solid rubber cords. Some of these are created using viton rubber, nitrile rubber, silicone rubber and EPDM rubber. All are elastic, shiny and are ideal for industrial applications.
Viton Cord– is resistant to various chemicals, oil and petroleum. They are ideal for high temperature sealing.
Nitrile Cord – can maintain its flexibility, even when applied to parts where solvents, fuel and hydrocarbons are present.
Silicone Cord – often serving as a rubber gasket for applications that demand exceptional sealing properties, unlike the first two types, silicone cords are not compatible for use when dealing with concentrated acids, solvents, dilute alkalis and oils.
EPDM Cord – is remarkably durable. It is resistant to weathering, ozone, water and steam. EPDM cord is also applicable for both high and low temperature applications.
These solid cords come in black as standard but colours can be offered but are subject to minimum order quantities.
Various diameters are available from stock. Call us on 01702 811 721 for more details.
