Conveyor systems are machines that are used to move and transport goods from one place to another. Utilised by many industries - largely in the product handling and packing business - they play a central role in maintaining the quality of goods, while lowering operational costs.
A conveyor belt is the carrying medium of the conveyor system; the material in which it is manufactured can greatly affect the conveyor system’s whole performance, so it is important to choose a supplier that has years of trusted experience providing the best conveyor belting solutions.
Coruba offers a full range of industrial rubber belting and chevron materials. Our stocks include all the major qualities used throughout the UK and we offer both full width and slit to width rolls.
Chevron belts are used to carry bulky materials on inclined surfaces at angles of up to 40 degrees. With cleats that are moulded into the top surface to prevent the goods from sliding backwards, the high angle inclination means that there is less space needed to reach the desired conveying height.
Features:
Rubber is considered to be among the most durable conveyor belting materials. Rubber conveyor belts are typically used to carry small items that can fall in between the rollers, such as bags that have the tendency to sag and other items with irregular surfaces such as cement, gravel or rocks.
Features:
We are also able to supply seamless belts that have been vulcanised in our factory - or we can arrange onsite vulcanising if required. Belt sidewalls and cleats are available that can be either loose or fitted to your specification.
